Originally sketched on a pizzeria napkin by Philippe Starck while on holiday by the sea in Italy, the Juicy Salif citrus squeezer has since become a truly iconic piece of contemporary design and a symbol of the famous Italian brand Alessi. It may take the form of an alien space ship in a retro sci-fi film, but is actually a highly functional citrus squeezer. Just place a glass in between the legs and squeeze oranges, lemons or limes over the top for a refreshing glass of juice. Certainly not a kitchen utensil to be left in the cupboard, this beautiful piece of design looks fantastic on the worktop and makes a wonderful gift for anyone. Crafted in Italy from highly polished aluminium which has an eye catching mirrored finish.
